Case Steam Engine which has been in our Family since 1915

My father Raleigh Woltmann on his 80th birthday June 20th, 2005 which was also Father's Day. For his birthday we had a big picnic and he fired up his steam engine and invited many friends and neighbors.

Nathan and Nolan Faselt hanging on to the giant cast iron wheels. It was a great day for a family. We all had matching shirts and my father had "buttons" made for the event. This is typical for Steam Engine Shows that he's attended over the years.

  1. Indeed a very sturdy locomotive vehicle. The 1900s gave birth to a myriad of inventions and landmark changes. Steam engines revolutionized the market during those days. I'm glad that your case steam engine is still good as new. My late grandfather also had a similar vehicle and its still in good condition.

The durability of the engine is always affected by its individual parts like
hoffman traps and others. Since steam engines runs on condensate gases, good hoffman vents and the likes should be used.

    Thanks for sharing!
