My brother Justin is the sign bearer, my sister Lois is the pioneer lady and I'm the pioneer man. This was the kids parade for the Minden Iowa centennial in the early 70's.

- I'm a Christian mother of 4 who married my best friend 25 years ago. We live in rural Iowa near Iowa City in a turn of the century Victorian home with a beautiful wrap around porch and a high point view of Johnson county. In 1993 we turned a grain shed into our first little "Rug Cottage" where I sold area rugs and gifts. Since then the little cottage has grown as well as our family. We now have Barntiques Antique Mall in our historic barn.
